The first great commandment taught by Jesus is to love God with our all our hearts, souls and minds.
To love God with all our faculties is a choice to love life, and everything in it. Loving God is acknowledging that He made the heaven, earth and everything in between.
A natural byproduct of practicing this first commandment properly is finding out we know very little about the universe, how it operates, why things happen the way they do.
We approach each day with humility, gratitude and grace – seeking for understanding of how God wants us to proceed with our lives.
When we let this commandment be the guiding principle in our lives, we begin to understand the weight of each day, the importance of every moment, and the wisdom in keeping our word,
We begin to watch our words, thoughts and beliefs more purposefully.
Our intent for every interaction changes, because ultimately loving God with all our heart, all our mind and our whole souls is a choice to love ourselves, His crowning creation.
The best way to love and honor God is by acknowledging every one is made in His image. As such we have the power to create a worlds of our own, starting with the words we choose to live by and weighing the importance of today’s decisions as part of eternity…
